Is anyone currently at Fort Campbell and able to share what the current climate of the 101st is?
I've been in a horrible unit for the past 7 months and have become disillusioned about what the main army has. I want to know that this is just a awful tradoc unit and it does live up to the reputation I've heard of it being a professional and motivated unit. This unit seems toxic throughout the unit and is unprofessional and bitter, and the fact I've been waiting on a unit sponsor for the past 2 months with no contact is only growing my concerns.

CW2 (Join to see) - I've heard a lot about them... usually accompanied by a lot of profanity.

Learn to deal with the life you have now. Going to another unit or duty station will not change much. I have been to 5 or 6 duty stations in my career and it's the same stuff but different place. Some leaders can make your life hard though as I know first hand and so can your co-workers so there is not denying that. Asking for a better environment is not necessarily the best way to go about your situation; learning how to deal with your environment in a productive way is more realistic.

SSG (ret) William Martin
CPT David Edgardo De Jesus - Those resilience classes have actually helped to include MFLC, chaplains, and other great resources. I think that's why I can say what I did above.

Even on RP, I still hear y'all yelling Rakkasan. And if I was in 3BCT I'd be doing the same.
