Do you need a security clearance for a secondary MOS?

I am looking at getting back on Active Duty. My current MOS is 31B (requires Secret Clearance), but I want to re-train into something in the 68-Series. Since 31B would be my secondary MOS, would I get a security clearance? Or only if 31B becomes my PMOS in the future?
