Military 20 yrs of service(retirement) vs Congress 4 yrs service(retirement) really? How does that even add up? An there trying to push our retirement back. Wow. Anyone else feel a little betrayed?

Because the war is over and "F U"... Not enough vets in congress. Not enough respect from a bunch that grew up in a "me me me" generation.

I just don't understand. I came in to the military at 18 so I could retire at 38. now your telling me that may not happen. After being deployed 5 times and still sticking with it to reach my goal. So unfair. but you can serve a 4 yr term and receive benefits for life. are you kidding me!

Running for Congress in your State is an option. If you cant retire from active duty, there are federal job programs and agencies that are available in the non profit industry. This service counts and there are benefits.

Yes, a bit perturbed with having to pay for out of pocket family healthcare insurance co-pays. Will be contacting White House, my Senator and Reps.
