You will be going the regular Basic Training cause PSBCT was obsoleted is May of this year. So now anyone joining from the Air Force, navy, or coast guard and army with a break in service more than 3 years have to attend regular basic. I was suppose to be there now when I eblisted in February but they cancel PSBCT and I got lucky. So that’s why you can’t find it!

Sgt (Join to see) did you ask a recruiter?

If you been out the marines more than 3 years then you will have to attend basic again

SGT Eric Davis I was marine for 8 years till 2012 and just did 2 years in Air Force reserve and that was less then a year ago. So I think I should be good since I have marine boot camp and over 8 years active. The recruiters have not heard of the psbct being canceled they said. Where did you see this at?

Need to check with the training NCO, he or she should have all the latest training schedules on hand.

Ridiculous. Like I’m going to learn something useful doing d&c and getting smoked like a private. Waste some more money why don’t we.
