Let's just go back to Woodland for garrison and call it a day. Looks like they fired the morons who decided Velcro was a great idea.

SGT (Join to see) When I was in Florida we did develop a game using the velcro. Our CoC made us wear those stupid little "Army" patches, the ones with the star that you sometimes see Recruiters wear. So we figured out real quick that if you threw it right, you could make it stick on somebody else. The idea of the game was to see how far away you could throw it and stick, and how close to upright you could get it. Helped pass the time.

If only there was a service that still exclusively used buttons in their cammies....

I would love zippers at least for some things. Buttons slow down running out to a jet when pilots need us.

A1C (Join to see), yeah. Zippers are definitely better than Velcro. Back when the Army wore BDUs, they had buttons. Of course, I never had to run out to a jet, so they suited me fine.

While I think it's a great idea, I'll believe it when I see it.

The never ending effort to make and remake uniforms continues.
Yay.
Not long from now, we'll have a TV reality show where fashion designers vie for the next two-year uniform design contract.
The decline of civilization is upon us.

Two-year design contract.....I fear that you may be right. Sigh.
