i'm currently in the process of creating an SOP for the handling of medications from trainees. e.g. Drill SGT locks up PVT Snuffy's medicine and has PVT Snuffy sign for and take medicine in front of them.

Why does Pvt Snuffy need medication? Don't soldiers have to pass a physical to get in? I am confused. I do not remember any soldier needing medication. We were not even allowed aspirin as I recall.

SFC (Join to see) - That is interesting. I had teeth pulled (wisdom teeth) when I was in a line unit, and I did not get anything for pain except a recommendation for Tylenol. Times are a changing. Lol!

SFC Motcheck,
A possible source is AR 350-6 which is the regulation for initial entry. This provides the broad regulatory guidance for all that happens in basic and AIT land and it should give you some information and provide reference to other regulations and policies that deal with your question.
Good luck,
Norman
