So I just saw on Fox News this "Red Flag" states where authorities can seize firearms if they believe a person is a threat to themselves or the public. Does anyone know of anyone that this has happened to, I live in one the Red Flag states. I can't wait to move to Texas or Cali(also a red flag state probably not moving there now).

This is the first thing they will read when they enter my ranch if they come to get mine.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - I was not advocating that just showing off my property. This is a better view.

Not here in NC. This would save many more lives if it was based on taking automobiles away from drunk drivers!

How about we just universally take things away from people who cant handle them? Guns, cars, phones (although if you take away the car the phone is pretty harmless) etc...

You mean like taking someone's license away if they are irresponsible with it.

I think most "Red Flag" laws are fairly new (at least the modern version of Red Flag type laws) historically speaking. Time will tell the tale as to just how liberally they get applied, but as for me, the only guy I know who got his gun taken away was an old friend who went to prison for murder, so...yeah.
