I have a soldier who is hoping to become an Army flight medic and she was inquiring what the requirements were for the initial flight physical. I know that she needs a certain PULHES score, along with vision acuity, phorias, color vision, blood labs, audiology and good looking vitals. That seems to be the bulk of what the physical requires... can anyone point me to an official source I can provide to this soldier? Many thanks.

An initial is an in-depth physical similar to a full commissioning or initial entry physical with additional flight specific tests, including interocular pressure, corneal topography, color, depth, correction, all just for eyes.
Flight physicals overall are more in depth than PHA physicals, an initial is more in depth than a long form flight.
