I’ve heard that you get slotted automatically after having a certain amount TIS, or you can submit a 4187 requesting for ALC. I’ve been in six years and three months now. Does that mean I will get slotted automatically? For the 92Y’s, what is this “LOG C3” class that I have to take prior to ALC and how do I access it? Thanks in advance.

Just a comment from someone who's been out, going on eight years. But from what I can remember, you are DA selected because of your TIS and TIG. To other Sergeants, if I'm wrong, please "school" me...I'd like to know just for my own FYI. Thx.

SFC, thanks for your input. From what I’ve been hearing/reading it seems like that would be correct. Soldier who have already met the TIS/TIG should be automatically slotted. It makes sense. As for soldier who made it in the secondary zone, I believe they would have to submit a 4187 requesting to go to ALC since they wouldn’t be considered priority in regards to TIS/TIG. However, i can be wrong since I am still trying to verify this. Thx again.

You will be DA selected according to OML. So update your PPW and update often. The more points you have the higher you will be in the OML.

Good luck man.

Get those points up and wait to be selected. If I’m not mistaken HRC sent out an email a few weeks ago explaining the process.

Also, I haven’t been to the board yet, but LOG C3 is on ALMS. I already started it early because it’s long.
