Over the years there have been a lot of great songs celebrating the services and American Veterans. There have also been many great songs with strong anti-war sentiment.
What I'm looking for is a list of the all time great American tributes to American Veterans, whether it highlights victory or pain, survival or loss, it just needs to resonate with you on a primal level.
I'm kicking it off with Five Finger Death Punch's "Wrong Side of Heaven".

CW2 Joseph Evans, during SF training at Camp Mackall, APR-MAY70, the SF instructors would make us come to attention and sing this every morning, when in a classroom setting! The song was a #1 hit in '66, so it was still fresh on their minds!
