What does it mean now that the South Polar Ice Field is going and thickening?

We have all heard the debate about Man-Made Climate Change and melting polar caps. Well a robotic sub has shown that sea thickness in the Antarctic is increasing. This according to New Science Magazine in it's Nov. 24th, 2014 article.
The change suggests that this ice is an all-time record and really a surprise to the scientists involved. The yearly increase is estimated at 19,000 to 20,000 sq miles of accretion.
The questions are why and what is causing this increase? Global temperatures? Perhaps, because the nature of the ice seems to indicate ice bunching up and refreezing. More to come. Oh and the ice is much thicker and sampling way up as well using 3-D techniques.

I am not sure of the context that you mean. sorry - This submarine was proven and did not really say one way or another about judging climate change. It even pondered the question of why.

Not much, really. There will be those that say thickening ice is a result of "climate change". There will be others that will say it is a continuance of a natural cycle.

You cannot debate with people who have their minds made up. 98% proves nothing. We are not sure what that means, who is saying it, outside of information that tends to support their ideas.

On the Northern Pole , if they would stop using the ice breakers they might find the ice sheets will not recede as much every year. But, every year the Russians and Canadians break up the ice. They need to stop and the ice will not recede as much and year after year it will increase. The only reason they call for the Global stuff is to tax Carbon emissions. But, it is for the larger free countries. China is not, Russia is not. Only the Democratic countries are really abiding by any emission control as a way to tax and control carbon emissions which are OOC in other countries that ignore emission standards, look at China, WOW! It is all about taxing for countries and the UN. The data they have is corrupted, some may be valid but some is corrupted. If any corrupted data were brought for a research program the research would be immediately thrown out and invalidated, but not true with Climate Change. Come to Arkansas the Climate Changes here every day. Check the history of the planet, how many ice ages has it been though? Thought so.
