I was reading through the news stories yesterday on this case and became somewhat irate to learn that Hasan would likely die on death row rather then recieve his sentence, so I created a petition to the President to immediately implement the sentence.

(former) MAJ Hasan was the Fort Hood shooter back in 2009 that was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder, and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder.

Hopefully I get the required signatures to send it forward. I believe we as the military are owed an answer from our Commander in Chief on this.

If you would be interested in signing it, please message me for the link, and then spam it mercilessly in social media for signatures.

Yes Sir, he was. However there is speculation that he will die of natural causes while on death row rather then recieve his sentence. I find this abhorrant.

I have mixed feelings on the death penalty as a whole, but in this case I feel it would make him a martyr. If we really wanted to make a statement we would drown him in pig's blood or something similar to show that his death is not a martyrdom.

SFC (Join to see), did you hear about (former) MAJ Hasan wanting to become a citizen of the Islamic State? Brutal.

I had not seen that one Sir, nor does it improve my impression of him in the least.
