Is SAR Corpsman school for a female likely in SELRES?
Your answer that your looking for is no. You cannot go SAR Corpsman and be on selres or fts. It is an active duty billet only. However if you do choose to go active duty, we are sorely hurting for people. So if you think you have what it takes, try out at corps school with HM2 Riley or HM1 Peterson if they are still there. Or if you have any questions, ask me. I'm a SAR corpsman
I think this is the basic site, just search for the Commissioned Corps, look particularly at the Jr and Sr COSTEP, their functional equiv of ROTC, then look up he health SVC ofcr (HDO) field under USPHS, they're allowed warrants, though they've never had them, I've often wondered if it could ever be allowed...you mightmapso seek to go Army warrant through WOCS, as a technical warrant at corpsman level, I dont kmow if itmexistsz however, I'm trying to ne creative, do a detailed bio sketch, degrees, coirseowkr, undergrad, grad reading, Hobbes interests, get a DAMTES transcript ofmapp your coursework, look up Excelsior College in NY, used to be part of BYS govt, privatized, very military friendly extensive nursing program, IP through NP and !SN, of your inclinatoon might run tat way, also Univ of the People, here not regionally accredited, tough they're recognized by DETC formerly NHSC, they have assoc and gpbach in health science, I just dont kmow of they're recognized by he svcs, VA, or industry, they were endorsed by the Vatican recently, they charge no tuition, just admin and exa! Cost, Excelsior has its own exam program!, as does DANTRS, digest that and send more I'd be most interested to hearmore, sp far as you'd care to elaborate, OK? Hope was of ise and/or interest....
You might askmifmyou could go interservice to USCH, I'm not sure if their resupcue swi!!er jas been done bynfemals yet, however asking might elicit some interest you might ne the first....also, you could try for USCG para!Eric/corpsman about helicopters I !erepy thought the idea might interest, elaborate on your college, I've been clinical, I wanted active duty USPHS Commissioned Corps, if you'd care to hear more I can try to explain itz you might also try for the interservice PA program in TDX, I think it's under Army at Ft Sam Houston.
