Should foreign military members be allowed on RP?

I have some friends that have served in foreign military services, and I think they would love RP. Lebanese and Mexican Army respectively. I was wondering if they were allowed to join, or is this just for US Veterans and active personnel? I noticed some civilians on here as well....just wondering if I should invite them.

At the risk of being the "Lone Ranger" I would vote no. I think Rally Point was founded to give American Service Members and veterans a place to discuss topics. While it might be nice to have a foreign point-of-view, I don't think Rally Point is designed for that.

I am also firmly in the "no" camp. This forum exists for and caters to the U.S. service member community. (Well, technically, it exists to make money through $Business_Plan, but catering to U.S. service members is an awesome fringe benefit to that...)
Were it open to other communities, the same as being open to civilians, we would need to "watch what we say" so as to not give offense, etc. It would materially weaken the community. I haven't been as active here since I started my current ADOS tour, but it would drop to zero activity and deletion of my account and every bit of information related to me that I could delete.
Edit: Then there is also the whole issue of PII.

Old thread, but NO. And if they do allow it they should be required to write in English. None of this foreign crap in their own language like they do on other forums. They only do that so we don't know what they're saying. I lived in Virginia where most of the community was Arab-born illegal aliens and I used to yell at them all the time to speak English or get the hell out of my country. Let them create their own website. They'd turn this one into a propaganda website with their anti-American agenda.

I also wouldn't care if I was the Lone Ranger. I've never been a follower and, as I mentioned in other threads, I'm not politically correct. Often I wonder if my posts will be blocked because I'm too vocal.

I think it is a good idea however, implementation would require a lot of research and caution. There is a ton of PII on this site for thousands and thousands of Service Members, Veterans, Retirees, and Civilians alike. What would be the vetting process? How could admin be sure that foreign military members were not part of a foreign intelligence security service? This site would be a goldmine for anyone collecting on US persons. It would be very easy to identify who had placement and access to what and where. Elicitation or other exploitation methods could be easily used to gather information.
Granted, this may sound "far-fetched," but I do believe that there would definitely need to be some serious thought and fail safes in place for any kind of implementation. Just my two cents...

Personal opinion, no. This is for U.S. service members. I agree there could be a similar site, but...I would personally not be on it.
There are fantastic members of other nation's military that we absolutely work hand in hand with. This site is not the place.
Respectfully

Your opinion is dually noted. I think if another site where created, and before becoming a member, knowing it was a site for all military membeRd both foreign and domestic...if you knew all the facts before joining, it would be quite an eclectic mix of characters and topics. I have to admit, I often wonder if foreign services have the same experiences, pride, problems, and consequences as the US military. Perhaps the creators of RP can make a dual site....or perhaps it is something I can do...
