Not sure where your case is but you still can dispute the findings. Unless the Secretary of the service signed it you have a few more options to dispute. Should take long enough to get your 20 with how slow they review cases. If you are over 15 you will still get a retirement. Did they not explain this during the election processmm

No i am in the Army National Guard i pretty much did my own research so i was trying to get confirmation but they have not told me one way or another. I know a memo came from DOD that they are pushing all medical non deploy-able personnel in a board process to make decisions on their case. With that said i am confident i will be earning a retirement. Just frustrating not knowing; that is my main goal above all is earning that retirement.

If they board you and discharge you for something service connected. With over 15 you have three options retire in lieu, they discharge at under 30% or retire you at 30% or higher. That’s how it was in 08 at least

I don't know the percentages. But someone should brief you. You make an election to enter the DES process. Your case is reviewed by NGB and returned with a medically fit, medically for with limitations, or not medically fit. You the have an option of appealing your case. Where are you in the process. You can message me if you don't wanna lay so this out here. I am air side but the process is the same.

I may be wrong but if you were over 18 years and medically released as an AGR I think you are eligible for retirement. Check with your JAG at your military Dept.
