What are some recommendations on where to get gear for Air Assault School as an Airman?

I am currently an Air Assault School instructor in Hawaii. We get a lot of guys from the Air Force. We usually go by what the Airforce issues you as it will be different from other branches of the military.

Unfortunately I don't have gear issued to me unlike when I did in the Marines.
I can try and locate the CIF on base or perhaps a local military surplus store.

Perhaps if you can and are willing to, besides what research I've done, I'd like to get as much info from you as I can about the course

Your unit should issue you the required gear. But if that doesn't work, the military clothing store might have what you need. Worse case scenario try Sportsmansguide.com. They sell a ton of military surplus gear, often its still current issue.

I'm not an instructor but, the gear that I needed was commonly issued gear. The school will usually send out a packing list. I agree every school location is different but they require the same thing also. It's a military school not just an Army school.
