Why in hell would he try?
Clearly his priorities are misplaced.

Apparently they didn't learn from the years of backlogged NCOES

If you are scheduled to attend BLC and it's posted in ATTRS, the platoon sergeant cannot stop you from attending. The S3 schools NCO should be able to advice you on the process. IG is always there to help as well.

Sadly some NCOS try to damage soldiers' careers for no apparent reason. IMHO, the Platoon sergeant is a toxic individual. He should prepping this Soldier, setting him up for success.

If you have a report date, orders, and a confirmed seat....it's gonna take more than just your platoon sergeant keeping you from going. It's gonna take a whole lot more.
