If I enlisted, but do not ship to basic until July of 2018, when can I be addressed as PVT?

Actually SGT they can't put you in front leaning rest position until they teach it to you.

If you’ve taken the Oath of Enlistment, I would say you’re “good”. If it is a delay of enlistment, it could get murkier. If you have papers showing you as an E-1, an enlistment date, or are getting pay you ought to be “good”. I enlisted overseas, but I didn’t “feel” like a soldier until I underwent in-processing at Ft Polk, LA. Never-the-less, My date of entry started on the day I “swore the oath”.
