Anyone ever heard of the data mining intelligence firm Palantir?

The same technology they use for hunting terrorists with the CIA, they've
started using for civilian applications.
Very cool mission.
Alex Fishman went from data mining for Palantir to launching an app about wine.

I used it for a year-long tour with SOCOM. Once I got the hang of it, I felt that it was a lot more intuitive than other analysis tools used by the military. Analyst Notebook feels really clunky in comparison. We did have some issues with getting products to sync across servers, but the Palantir FSRs were incredibly responsive.

I have heard of it. I used it often in Afghanistan. I liked the search features and how much information was available. I'm not an analyst but it made it easier for me to get answers on what I wanted to know.

Palantir is a first rate firm on the cutting edge of technology well respected by Silicon Valley.
