I think everyone loves discussing with other branches of the military about their traditions. So I was wondering, what are some of your favorites from your branch or others?

One of my favorites is the playing of Taps for lights out (in the evening) and at funerals. I remember listening to that as a young troop (the lights out part), and it's a fond memory. I like most military music that's part of tradition, including Reveille and Retreat.

Believe it or not, foot marches aka ruck marching. It builds comaraderie like only a few other things can do. You also see parts of a personality you never otherwise would after 20 miles on the ruck....of course you could probably deal without ever knowing that side too...
