Do you think that in-person interviews have changed over the years of your career?

Sure. The big reason is EEO, potential legal actions, etc. which means the interview topical range has been greatly restricted and sugar coated. I remember when my dad couldn't go far because he was the wrong religion. When we made a shopping list of bias categories illegal, then the bias went more underground and the interviews can have more innuendo in them. That said, the way things are done today with repetitive interviews by different managers serves the purpose of diluting legal exposure while finding out if everybody likes you. Bottom line, the nature, tone, information sought, etc. has changed greatly.

A little, I've been where I am almost 40 yrs., so the questions would be a lot different to the new candidate that wants to hire on.
