I always encounter people who think that because I'm in uniform that I'm politically a far-right conservative.

Back in my day on domestic flights we were discouraged from wearing them on domestic flights. If we were PCSing to Germany if it was a charter flight from Charelston, SC to Rhein Mein we wore dress greens. But when I travel now I see so many soldiers in ACUs, ABUs etc. thank you for the answer!

SGT Edward Thomas We can't fly in ACUs anymore. It's either business dress or Class A. I've had my luggage lost twice over the last 6 months, so no more checking in for me (especially for a 24 hour trip). By traveling in Class A's, I at least have a uniform on and ready and I can travel light so no need to check in luggage.

I will share a few I've come across:
Navy is gay
Marines are proud and dumb
Air Force is not the real military
Army thinks they're the best at everything

I'll accept it's not gay if you pull out peanut butter. . .
That means he wasn't ready. . .

Great point. It can become much harder to concentrate on the front line if your DD93, SGLI, class 9 parts order, and food issues and requirements aren't squared away. Logistics and Adjutant General personnel are called Combat SERVICE support for a reason.
