Do I keep the "P" skill set identifier if I move to a non-airborne unit?

I am an 88M. I attended Airborne school in 08. Got sent to 82nd, then four and a half years later pcsed to a non-airborne unit at Fort Irwin. My question is this should my Erb state my MOS is 88M2P still or 2O? I just want to make sure I have my ERB correct.

You should still have the P unless you put in a 4187 to have your P removed. Just because you moved does not mean that you are no longer qualified to be a Parachutist. If you have the P removed you will no longer be allowed to jump.

Jake,
Once you have earned the P skill code it stays with you for your entire career. A P will only change after you complete JM school. I think it becomes a V can't remember what mine says, just that it changes to reflect the higher skill level. As far as I know, the P does not have anything to do with whether or not you are on jump status.

The V SQI is for Ranger-Parachutist (and G would be non-airborne Ranger)
Jump Master would give an ASI of 5W.
