I have a confession...I have an addiction.
I'm addicted to apps of all kinds. So far my current favorites are Evernote and Calengoo. They both work on iPhone/droid, iPad and laptop. All phones in the family have Calengoo (works off Google calendar) so we can see/update our calendars (work, kids' sports, dr appts, etc).
I've seen a few threads on apps in RP, but most seem to be military or service specific. I'm always on the hunt for a great new app that can make life easier (especially with kids), so I thought I'd try RP for suggestions.
Please let me kno if you have a suggestion for a great app...Thanks!

Well of course I have the RP app. (that was a given :) To be honest, it's even cleaner/less busy than the online version.
BTW...is there an iPad app...?

I knew it! Great question Erika. I'll get back to you on that one.
A task management app I use is asana. It's not perfect, but helps in coordinating tasks with other coworkers. I'm also into retail chains that put out an app with geolocation capability. It's really practical B2C technology. Starbucks and redbox set the bar high on theirs.

Ma'am, thanks for the tip on Calengoo. I'm glad you described it, because I didn't "get" it until you did. My family could benefit from that app in a big way, so I'll be looking into it.
The only suggestion I have, well maybe two, are the Kindle reader app and the USAA app. I use them both quite a lot and I think they're great. Those are probably some fairly obvious suggestions. Nothing fancy, etc.

Thanks! I do have the Kindle app. Our local library lets us "check out" e-books via Amazon using Kindle. Love it!
Great tip on the USAA app. Will definitely look into it. Sounds very useful.
I hope you enjoy Calengoo. The biggest issue is when the kids forget to add some of their info.
Evernote has been a great tool to help me get over my stickie addiction. You can share lists with other people too. My daughter decided to start my grocery list in Evernote with her own requests. You also get an email address where you can send notes, documents, etc, and they feed directly to the app.

I downloaded Calengoo this evening, Lt Col (Join to see). Now I just need to get my family on board. I think I have used Evernote before, but probably not to its maximum potential. Thanks again for the tips, ma'am.

If Evernote seems complicated, try Wunderlist. That would be my backup for lists, notes folders. And it stores in the cloud, so you can access via login on any device.
