I just dropped a warrant officer packet for MOS 880A and 881A. My MOS is 35f and current assignment is S2 NCOIC. What are my chances?

If selected what should i expect? There isn't much info on these MOSs online but the idea of being on a boat intrigues me.

It has been the best 20 years of my life serving as a Boaty. We are the most deployable though. Be ready to be gone ALOT. Not just to the middle east but to south America, Japan, Korea, and anywhere else there is water!!! Out of the 20 years I have over 10 years of sea time..that's under way somewhere away from my family half of my career. Wouldn't change a thing though. I have my coat guard license and the job opportunities on the outside are endless and pay VERY WELL.

SSG (Join to see) I wish I could help you, but I am a Navy Warrant Officer 3 and if the Army Warrant is anything like it is in the Navy, you will be king of the roost in your specialty. I greatly enjoyed being a Warrant. I don't know how much service you have, but I had to be an E-7 with several years in rank, and I had to have 14 years service under my belt. Good luck!

Did you check the “requirements” posted on line??? There are a lot and require documentation.
