How long does it usually take for a condition of release to process (Reserves to Active)?

It really depends on the chain of command and those who process the paper work. Some commands will process those request very quickly others seem to drag them out or even deny them.

And it depends how many layers of command are between you and the first General in your Chain. Since most commanders have an open door policy, it never hurt my feeling to let a soldier hand carry his conditional release if he wanted to expedite the process. The form only requires that one signature. Just make sure you have cleared doing this with your command and understand that the first General in your chain is perfectly within his rights to say no.
