What do you do to build teamwork amongst your platoons Soldiers?

Sign out pugil sticks and tell the platoon that the last soldier standing gets a three day while maniacally cackling "THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!"

On the serious side, we put together a team from my platoon and ran 2 spartan races together so far with another one coming up

One of the things we did that was great fun and great team building was to check out two of every weapon in our MTOE and disassemble them at opposite ends of a hallway, field, etc. Alll parts would go in footlockers (except for the M2 .50 cal). We would have relay races where you run to one end, assemble and function check all weapons, then run to the other end and disassemble what the other guy just assembled, then tag the next runner. If you caught the guy at the other end before he was complete with his task, he was eliminated...this would go on until the last two guys, then it would come down to time to determine a winner.
