Chemical Warrant Officers... how are you being utilized in your units?

I am waiting for the selection board in November, but I am hoping to hear from any CBRN Warrant Officers about how you are being utilized in units (since this is a relatively new position).

I really want to be a Warrant, but my P2 profile won't allow it. Which is horrible, since I, and my leadership, think I would make a great Warrant. I was filling out my packet and realized where I can not overcome some restrictions. However, I still have all the paperwork and if anybody wants to go that route, I would be more than happy to give advice, pointers, etc.
The silver lining is I get to be a great NCO in the Chemical Corp. (Not arrogance, just drive.)

I am so glad we finally have a CBRN Warrant Officer! I have said for at least 15 yrs we need this. Even when I was a CBRN Officer I said IMHO we need Warrant Officer's not Commissioned Officers. CBRN is a specialty and should be Warrant.

I don't think CBRN WOs should, for instance, become the S2 or S3, but rather work closely with those section officers by offering whatever CBRN influence may be required, as well as overseeing and directing CBRN training.
But, Until I make it past WOCC & WOCS, I may be talking out of my ass.

I generally look at the difference between NCOs and Warrants as the following:
NCOs are mostly worried about the well being and ability to fight of their personnel while WOs are mostly worried about the subject matter and the ability for the soldiers to perform their specific job.
While they have some overlap, I think those are the specific duties and therefore would look for an NCO that loves to ensure his soldiers are prepped to do their job and is a great source of information whenever you need it.
