Don’t offer your opinion unless asked - week 1 of my first duty assignment! Now it’s - would you like it with or without sugar on top, as too many feelings get hurt these days... I leave them with the choice!

Even though I’m a cadet and that doesn’t count as service time, I learned that rank does not beat experience. Your rank and pay might be higher up on the totem pole, but there’s never a circumstance that you can’t learn from those who have done what you wish you could.

Work ethic.
