Sort of....by doing 4 years Guard you still owe 4 years to the IRR or ING. But you can do any amount of time you want if you're prior service and have done your initial enlistment

Last I checked it was a 6 year contract but it's been 8 years since then. I think you can do more but I'm not sure.

Sure thing man, I re-enlisted for a max of 6 or 8 years (I can't remember which exactly) when I had completed 5 years (so coming up on 6 years you add more or get out) but it was thrown out when I commissioned, different story. But I'm pretty sure it's 6. Active is around 4.

Yes and no. No, because your very first initial contract will be 6 Active Guard and 2 IRR. Yes, because come re-enlistment time, you can re-up for 4.....if that option is available
