Some of you might be interested in seeing tomorrow's big launch of Orbital Sciences' Antares rocket carrying the Cygnus cargo spacecraft. Primary mission is to resupply the ISS with cargo and crew supplies. I'm guilty of being a bit of a space launch fanatic and will be tuning in via live steam.
If interested, you catch this launch live here:

Also, if you are in the VA or MD area, you'll get a great first hand look of the stage 1 burn. Cheers!

Antares rocket explodes on liftoff from Wallops Island
NASA is set to launch an Antares rocket Monday evening from its Wallops Flight Facility. Weather permitting, the launch was expected to be visible for miles from the site.

Wow, unreal...Just heard about this. A huge setback for the Orbital team. I hope everyone was okay and no one was near the blast area. The commercialization of space is hot topic these days due to events like this.

Well that was a setback for Orbital. They had issues with the Taurus rockets, and now the Antares. Maybe this is a sign that America should walk away from Russian designs entirely (the stage 1 rocket is a rebranded Russian rocket).
