After I got out of the U.S.M.C. I had so many issues dealing with the VA (even though I was medically discharged). What finally got the ball REALLY rolling for me was becoming a lifetime D.A.V. member. All of a sudden, I got the back pay I was owed.(over 50k)

Depending on your particular case scenario will be how you receive VA pay. We're you medically retired from active duty? If so did you receive severance pay? We're you medical boarded off active duty? Did you file a claim for service connection and receive 100%?

Contact your local county veterans service officer for assistance - this person is employed by local government, call your county commissioners office, contact any veterans service organization for assistance, I'm DAV so I am partial :0)
