Our Christmases featured a Silver Christmas Tree but my brother lost it at school in New York. My mother made sugar and other cookies with those tin cutouts forming shapes of the trees, Santa and Big Foot!
30pts to find a clue. But it was nice, I had two brothers and two sisters which I was the oldest and still am. :) Christmas Day the tree had gifts two to three feet high!
Imagine my consternation when my mother told there was no Santa. I was a tender 18 years of age. Good times!

I love it, SSgt (Join to see), those images bring back some very good memories for me as well. That must have been a shock to your system when you learned about Santa!

When I was 6, my parents managed to bring a piano into the living room after I went to bed on Christmas Eve. It has a plaque on it saying "Merry Christmas Jessica, Love Santa."
To this day I have no idea how they pulled it off. They won't tell me either...

LT Jessica Kellogg - Santa has his ways. I am still trying to prove that to my mother. She is 79 or will be. :)

I wish that I had one of the photos that circulated, but 2010 while we were in Kyrgzystan, a troop stripped off his winter coat, and blouse, so he was in his ABU bottoms and T-shirt. Laid in the snow beside a "Charlie Brown" Christmas Tree, propped up on one elbow, like a fat little cherub and smiled for the camera. It was DISTURBING. He had the pic printed and made a Christmas card out of it for the commander. It was funny as all get out, but did I mention DISTURBING.

CMSgt James Nolan - You want disturbing. I had a class with Eastern Washington and the professor asked me to reveal what I thinking and I said, "hideous things"!! He told me, "to get help". They are out there.. LOL> Great story. the chubby is hilarious.
Then again I still stamps on metered mail.
