Is anyone here experienced in dealing with an organization for veterans?

I am the founder of a facebook group for military veterans who have deployed, Called OIF/OEF Nation, we have been a group for over a year, and with all the positive remarks i have received about it, the lives that have been saved by group members coming together to help a troubled individual, i want this group to become more than just a group, i just dont know the right people to make it happen. Any tips?
