I missed the cutoff by a couple weeks; however, for me its a moot point as last year I started using my Post 9/11 GI Bill to get my MBA. I am glad that for those who might be positively affected by this when they decide to further their education at some point down the road, they need not worry about that benefit's clock winding down on them.

Forever GI Bill has not changed plans since original expiration was still 15 years after ETS. If one gets a degree, it should be from a ranked and reputable school. One issue with GI Bill was unscrupulous unranked for-profit schools enrolling veteran students with deceptive / misleading advertising.

Military Times, GI Bill Calculator, RP members, and VetSuccess counselors (or lack thereof) help Vets make the best enrollment decisions.
