New Air Force Planes Go Directly to 'Boneyard'

The attached article refers the new C-27 which Congress axed because these planes are not needed and therefore the problem is they were built already and now are to be trashed. A waste of money for sure but let's be honest I am certain that some Congressional people knew of this contract.

My feelings are these planes created jobs and revenue but now they are not needed. What is your take because I do not want people to assume that active duty and Veterans are taking a hit for something they knew nothing about.

Still on track as per a briefing from the former Commander of Air Combat Command (COMACC). The Air Force is all about things that rumble and have pointy noses.
