We need more veterans to run for office. How do we help them?

I believe that there are not nearly enough military veterans in the halls of Congress. I think our time in service has helped mold us into valuable assets to our country, including once we are out of uniform as well. We live by core values, we understand leadership, we know how to put service before self, and we know the importance of character, integrity, trust and patriotism. I feel that more veterans in all political parties will benefit the nation as a whole and will better serve the interests of the people they serve rather than themselves. So how do we help motivate our veterans to run for office and continue serving the nation in another capacity?

Being a Veteran is not required. A desire to fix America is required. We are founded by Veterans, for ALL Americans. Join with us.

Get involved first. Become a precint committee officer and get the support of your party (although I hate political parties). Collect names/emails of supporters. Read your state's campaign finance laws. Employ the Kasten Plan and execute your plan.
I ran a state rep campaign and am current running for a local office. No pay but it is our county's constitution so it is important.
