Am I eligible to become a military chaplain with an RE-3G reenlistment code and JFY separation code from the Coast Guard?

I was unable to finish boot camp due to an adjustment disorder. All issues have since been resolved. I am looking to take part in one of the chaplain training programs, which allows me to commission into the reserves as and train to become a chaplain while studying in seminary. Any information and/or advice would be greatly appreciated! I am open to any of the three services that take chaplains.

For the Army, you'll require a waiver.
As for commissioning as a Chaplain, for the Army, you'll need to have at least a Bachelors to shoot for the Candidate program, which allows you to do Army stuff while still not being fully qualified as a Chaplain.
If you do decide on the Army, call your local Recruiting office, they'll get you going in the right direction.

You would need a waiver for any branch. If you want to check out the Navy Chaplain Corps private message me and let me know where you're located and I'll get you the contact info for the Navy Chaplain Recruiter for your area.
