What's your advice to those that deal with or consider themselves as slow thinkers?

Patience - observation - understanding. Sometimes being a "slow thinker" is not actually slow, but someone who is processing the task fully through to its logical conclusion and perhaps weighing alternative ways to accomplish the task.
