How long till we start seeing IED's on our streets in America? Will we?

We all know that the most effective weapon against in OIF/OEF was IED's. Simple, easy, and deadly. With the talk of "lone wolfs" acting on behalf of ISIS/ISIL here in the states; do you think this is what we will see?
Would this be easy for someone to do here?
Will we see serpentines and CCP's on our highways?
What will our reaction be? National Guard troops deployed?
Will you have to do 5/25's in your drive way?
Would a couple of IED's in a few neighborhoods terrorize this country more than bringing down the WTC?
Duke and Jukes on civilian vehicles? I guess that would eliminate our text-n-drive problem.
What are your thoughts? Is this realistic?

Being that the Boston Marathon bombing used an IED I fear that some terrorist group will use a human delivery system and cause mass casualties via a biological weapon such as ebola. Have 10 people infected and put them in major population centers and let the contagion do the rest.

That has been one of my thoughts for a week or two. In the 1300's I believe it was common to use a catapult to launch plague victims into walled cities during siege warfare, though I'm not sure it did what they hoped, it was still a disgusting way to run a siege, and the idea is still around, though the walled cities are mostly gone now...

Well due to latest developments in Iraq and ISIS I see this as a being the next domestic attack.

We have a bigger problem resulting from the fear mongering that is popular rhetoric today.
The Boston Marathon bombing shut down Boston longer than the towers shut down New York.
We are more destabilized by random acts of civil disobedience because of police over reaction and/or media bias.
We have an effective police force. We are adequately vigilant in our own neighborhoods.
As Americans, we are not the sheep that so many people fear we are.
American gangs and organized crime understand that their continued survival requires the maintenance of the status quo. ISIS or any significant terrorist organization will not succeed in America.
