Hello everyone so here recently in January I got out of the military medically due to draw backs. I never wanted to get out of the army and I have been trying to get back in for a bit. I even have a medical clearing from my va doc but recruiters won't work with me. My re code is 3, Sep code is Jeb. I got rated a 0 for my medically unfit condition but 60% in total. Is it possible to rejoin

It's possible but not easy like you said you have to find a recruiter who will work with you because helping you doesn't count to their quota and it takes time help you out that takes away from others. You gotta just keep looking or pestering the recruiters to help you out. It also will take a while to get an RE CODE changed. I got some recruiters I'm in contact with I can ask on your behalf how it works.

Recruiters don't have individual quotas, we're given numbers to hit as a center. Helping a PS rejoin absolutely does count towards our numbers-- and if multiple recruiters say no, that's answer.

If it was possible, but just required a lot of work, he'd be handed off to another Recruiter to work with if the first just wasn't willing to do the paperwork. Sounds like that's not the case though.

I'm a prior service and I have an RE 1 and good to go back but back in 2007 I had to get a moral waiver to enlist and now me trying to go back in I'm told they have to do another moral waiver for the same thing as 2007, so I need the same moral waiver i had in 2007. I do have all my documents from back then. Imagine its tough for me to get back in and the recruiter put me in the bottom of her pile, I went to speak to her station commander and now he has my packet. It is not easy for prior service to enlist back in, but just got to find the recruiter willing to work with you. Message SSG Laura Mboup she's very knowledgeable, wish she was my recruiter but I'm to far from her office.

If you talked to Recruiters, plural, already and they said no...

...the answer is no.

There will of course be stories about other people rejoining with ratings and whatnot, but if you've already consulted Recruiters in person and they said no...that's the answer. Every case is different, and the rules change all the time.

They never said no. The recruiter that was working with me said that he could get me back in but it's A LOT of paperwork. He went on medical leave and, never heard from him went to the other recruiters and they kept telling me they'd call me every time I'd go in.

In that case...go a last time, and ask if there's another center you can go to.

Specialist, "Stay Army...Go Guard" Prior service applicants are the bread & butter for all ARNG recruiters, however be candid when you call or visit your local armory and have your 201 file or disc for them to support your application...MEPS physical next...then the Med waiver is submitted through the state surgeon general...have a good well seasoned recruiter who believes in your sincerity and conviction to return fit for duty... I saved many a veteran's career by just knowing, doing, and following up at any/all obstacles in order to bring the soldier home to his vision of drilling one weekend a month and deploying as directed.
