Be a sponge. Take it all in. WLC teaches you the basics according to the FMs and ARs. We all have our nuances or "the way we do it at home station," but at WLC you will get it by the book. That is what the exams are orientated to.
There will be times where you will be able to share lessons learned with your classmates and cadre and this is a great time to ask questions and learn how other units conduct business.
If you don't know, ask.

All that stuff you think you know already.......... Forget it!
Pay attention to what is being taught and how it is being taught. They will only test you on what is taught, and not on what you think you know to be correct. If there is someone you don't like, then keep that for yourself and don't get into arguments with your classmates!! Give it your all and you will be fine. Shoot for the honors (distinguished honor grad, honor grad, commandant's list, etc.) as those will look great and help you later in your career with senior promotions.

That is great advice SFC Gilley. I found it to be rushed. Everything crammed into the short time I was their. They would flip through the powerpoints so fast. Then we would take our test the next day or so. I didn't learn anything because all the answer were there on the computer. All you had to do was search for whatever you where looking for. The hardest thing for me was D&C, only because I needed practice at it having never rally truly marched a squad.

Give a 110%, study hard, pay attention, don't be afraid to ask questions. Do that and you will be fine & pass with no problem.
