What are some creative deployment food hacks?

The only thing I "cooked" was sweet tea made in the sun. We had it down to a science on how many tea bags and sugar packets per liter bottle. Combine, mix, and set that bad boy in the sun for a day or two and you're set.

I deployed with a guy who made one of the best chili I ever tasted using ketchup as the base. Took him forever to squeeze enough of those individual ketchup packages into the pot.
