Bravo, Google! Thanks for sharing this, Maj Ahron Oddman! I didn't know Google is a military-friendly company. This program makes me think it is.

Very happy to see google providing this, but disappointed (yet again) that we retirees have lost our access to AKO email (which was supposed to be available to us for life), so we no longer have a working .mil email addresses.
It is true that email to our .mil address are still being forwarded to commercial accounts through the end of this year, any embedded links are stripped in the process rendering them useless.
Just for clarification, I'm not frustrated at not getting free google calls (I think it's fantastic for them to provide the service), I'm just still a bit bitter over the Army pulling the plug on AKO email access for retirees. End rant.
