If ISIS crosses into Turkey, will the U.S. put troops on the ground to support it's NATO ally?

If ISIS takes Kobani, a city bordering Turkey, they will be on the edge of one of our NATO allies. Do you believe that if ISIS spills into Turkey, NATO (to include the U.S.) will have to place troops on the ground?

How does one "act" like an ally? Oh yeah, buy actually doing something that supports us after all the money we give them.

Isis would be insane to attack Turkey from my limited purview. Turkey is simply watching the battle from their side of the border. They are letting Isis take care of the Kurd problem, so as longs as Isis stays off Turkish soil, I believe Turkey would be happy to watch them eliminate the Kurds. Turkey has its own very serious internal political rifts. That whole area is a cauldron of mixed signals and dubious friendships.

According to the Big Boss Man - NO TROOPS, air strikes only. Of course that's today, tomorrow that thought process may disappear like a fart in the wind.

CPT Michael Barden, IMHO, we should had dissolved it years ago because NATO doesn't take a dump unless we provide the toilet.
