What do you think caused this? Do you receive a disability rating from the VA for this?

Good, if somewhat personal, question, LTC (Join to see). :-) I did not receive a disability for this. I attribute some of this to military doctors' willingness to "push pills," probably especially in this area. I do have some experience with this "disability" (won't go into details), but I will say that the "diagnosis" was a self-assertion, which was taken at face value. How's that for putting myself out there?
I have heard that younger folks (and older, not to pick on younger folks) use ED drugs as "enhancers" when there really is no need for the drug. I suspect that's also part of the reason for the results of this study.
