What are pros and cons between doing online training and a proctored exam with IVMF versus the Vets2PM program?

Both are reputable (and as the co-founder of IVMF, I'm clearly biased, but my team ran the program at IVMF, and I think nails it every single day). IVMF's program has no cost to veterans. It's virtual. It requires your focus on getting the work done, but you can get all the supports needed to do so. Vets2PM has a cost (yes, you can use GI Bill, but as EVP at Student Veterans of America I typically advocate using GI Bill for college, and our data shows about 5 to 6% of veterans use GI Bill for certifications). I recommend IVMF over Vets2PM, but Vets2PM is reputable.
IVMF
Pro: No cost to the veteran
Con: Virtual, requires self-motivation, though has reminders.
All that said, reach out to IVMF advisors and talk with them, that team is phenomenal and will help you walk through options and make informed decisions.

Would the IVMF advisors also be able to help with me figuring out whether to got for CAPM or straight for PMP? Also, what about transferring military project hours to PMP hours?

You need to call them and ask, because I left over a year ago, but when I was there the answer was yes. Keep in mind that the difference is largely the experience and documentation component, and not the content. If you have enough experience you generally should go for the PMP, if not, the CAPM will be the only option.

SGT (Join to see) - I think it was the IVMF and I asked about the Green Belt Program. I am interested in certifications in the logistics career field. Most of the professional organizations do offer them but they start around 2-4k.

SGT (Join to see) - I have seen them on LinkedIn and I looked up their web site and their board members and they are all pretty active on LinkedIn either discussing topics with Veterans or offering their service.

I would verify the programs to ensure that you get the proper certifications necessary and expected. If one is questionable, be aware.

I forgot few people are aware of IVMF at Syracuse. IVMF is very reputable. Vets2PM, I'm not sure.
