What are you thinking of reclassing to and what kind of guidance are you seeking?

SGT(P) (Join to see) - The process itself is fairly simple. The biggest hurdles you will have to face is having the line score to qualify for those MOSs and a Recruiter/Retention NCO willing to work with you to get it done. Otherwise, it's simply submitting the request and release paperwork and then waiting for approval signatures.

MSG (Join to see) - my line scores are high enough for the positions I would like to look into, a lot of the time the major issue people are running into is the "state doesn't have the funding". I will have to dig deeper with one of the retention NCO's.

SGT(P) (Join to see) - Then there will be the biggest hurdle. Unless you can facilitate an IST to a different state/unit that still has funds to complete this.

I will have to take that into consideration, the state of CT is awful when it comes to budgets.

I reclassed with reenlistment. Training Option 3. You get a class date. Go to AIT as a MOS-T. Could also look into a reclass with a 4187.

SSG (Join to see) - Interesting, I will have to view that option when this current contract it up.
