I will be attending a 25N MOS-T Course at Ft. Gordon in January. It runs until about mid-March. Just wanted to see if anyone out there has experience with this course and any tips on what I should expect. I have about 10 years IT experience on the civilian side and have been doing the 25N job since March last year so I am expecting the course won't be too challenging but hoping to learn more about the JNN itself and some of the components you don't find in the civilian world. Also I am hoping to use the time to study up and knock out some certifications. Any advice would be great! I am also curious how much of my TA-50 do I need to bring.

More likely than not, you will get sent to an Air Defense unit and never do 25N work at all. That seems to be a common trend, all 25N seem to eventually end up in a ADA unit

There isn't much more to the JNN than what's available in civilian IT jobs. Routers, switches, COMSEC devices, FLEXMUX, etc. You should be good to go. TA-50 is going to be determined by if you will be going to the field or not. I would bet on you not needing it but you should always be prepared. SSG LESANE
