I had the feeling it would be them since they have their 1st BDE already deployed to Kuwait and a big part of one of the battalions already in Iraq augmenting security.

Son is in Kuwait, possibly heading north with the BN HQs soon since he is part of the S-2's tank crew....

Thanks MSG, I feel good knowing he's a tanker like his old man was so it's a bit "safer" for him if crap gets outta hand!

For some reason I suspected that it would be 101st. I am a bit relieved that it isn't though since my son is there now (selfish, I know, but I can't deny it).

MSG Wade Huffman I know that feeling....I can only imagine how my wife felt when both the oldest son and I were deployed to Iraq at the same time.

PO1 (Join to see) , I can't even begin to imagine how hard that must have been for her. I was in Afghanistan from 05-06, my son was there 12-13 and that was hard enough.
